Marcom Platinum Award winning design

I am not afraid to dive into UX work or any phase of web design when given the opportunity. When MySECO launched I was wearing many hats as the primary designer - working with many different DoD contractors and stakeholders. Developing the build schedule, designing the sitemap, taxonomy, personas, wireframes, styleguides and eventually delivered a full fledged website mockup to a team of developers. After the site was live I was in charge of developing and proctoring user testing for military spouses and presenting findings and suggestions for improvement to the team.
Once the site launched I was in charge of finding, cropping, recording, uploading, and storing imagery for the entire website (over 1000 images). I have managed this effort very efficiently keeping a record database of stock image #’s in Excel, InDesigns data merge function to create an Imagery Choices Document for necessary approvals, used togglecase.com to rename imagery from stock photo #’s, created my own Photoshop actions and use scripts to batch crop photos to various sizes. I’m passionate about my process so I even created a flow chart and Design Guide to educate any new employees that may have to undertake web maintenance in the future. I am constantly learning, love to share my ideas with others, and ignite the spark in others minds!
I'm always open to cooperation, so don't hesitate to send me your project details. Let's create something great together!
